Kresus, Hanwha form strategic partnership for Digital Assets

Kresus Labs, a leading provider of Web3 infrastructure solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Hanwha Investment & Securities, one of South Korea’s most established financial institutions.

The collaboration was formalized during Abu Dhabi Finance Week 2025, marking a significant step toward accelerating institutional adoption of Web3 technologies across Asia and global markets.

Under the partnership, Kresus Labs will supply its modular enterprise wallet platform, tokenization engine, and suite of multi-chain Web3 mini applications. These tools will enable Hanwha Investment & Securities to design and deploy secure, compliant digital asset products that meet the regulatory and operational standards expected from major financial institutions.

The two organizations outlined a shared mission to develop scalable, financial-grade blockchain infrastructure capable of supporting next-generation digital services. These include tokenized financial instruments, real-world asset issuance, and advanced digital wallet solutions suitable for both consumer and institutional markets.

Kresus Labs said the partnership with Hanwha aligns with its global mission to support enterprises integrating blockchain technology with strong compliance, identity verification, and user-friendly design.

“Hanwha Investment & Securities is one of Asia’s premier financial institutions, and we are honored to support their long-term vision for responsible and innovative digital asset services,” the company said, adding that both sides are committed to building secure, mainstream-ready Web3 products.

The collaboration will extend beyond product development. Both firms plan to engage in joint research, talent exchange programs, and coordinated market strategies aimed at scaling Web3 adoption across international financial hubs.

By combining Hanwha’s deep market expertise with Kresus Labs’ technological capabilities, the partnership seeks to create a foundation for digital asset infrastructure that is secure, interoperable, and compliant with global standards.

The announcement underscores the growing momentum behind Web3 initiatives in traditional finance, as major institutions explore tokenization, blockchain-based settlement systems, and next-generation digital services.

Kresus Labs said it will continue working with global partners to bring Web3 technology into real-world financial systems with reliability and ease.
