Trump Media joins prediction market race with Crypto(dot)com

Trump Media joins prediction market race with Crypto(dot)com

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), the parent company of Truth Social, has entered the rapidly expanding prediction-market space through a strategic partnership with Crypto(dot)com.

The collaboration aims to launch “Truth Predict,” a new feature allowing users to wager on real-world events directly through the social platform.

According to statements, Truth Predict will begin live beta testing soon, followed by a full U.S. rollout once regulatory and compliance requirements are met. Crypto.com’s U.S. derivatives arm will act as the exchange and clearinghouse for event-based contracts integrated into the Truth Social ecosystem.

Through the platform, users will be able to buy and trade contracts tied to future outcomes, including political elections, interest-rate moves, sports results, and commodity prices.

The initiative marks one of the first attempts to merge social-media engagement with regulated financial prediction products.

TMTG CEO Devin Nunes framed the launch as part of Truth Social’s broader mission to “democratize information and empower everyday Americans to harness the wisdom of the crowd, turning free speech into actionable foresight.”

Crypto(dot)com CEO Kris Marszalek described prediction markets as a “multi-deca-billion-dollar opportunity,” emphasizing the partnership’s goal of integrating secure financial infrastructure with interactive online communities.

The move positions Truth Predict in direct competition with established prediction-market operators such as Polymarket and Kalshi, both of which have gained momentum amid surging user interest and growing regulatory scrutiny.

Analysts view the collaboration as a potentially disruptive step, blending user-generated content with speculative finance.

However, experts caution that integrating social media and trading may introduce new challenges, including concerns about transparency, responsible gaming, and regulatory oversight.

As the live beta approaches, industry observers will be watching closely to see whether Truth Predict can balance innovation with compliance, and whether Trump Media can turn Truth Social’s political following into a viable foothold in the fast-emerging prediction-market industry.
